Our expert technology in sapphire glass is based on 43 years of R&D experience in processing sapphire cover glass for watch. Our company has also been processing sapphire glass substrate for projectors for 12 years, with an established production system enough to manufacture 800 thousand substrates per month in collaboration with large companies, which enabled them to keep supplying high-altitude projectors to the market.
The quantity of output is equivalent to the capability of polishing upper and lower surfaces of more than 1500 thousand pieces per month (15 million to 20 million per year) in consideration of watch size at the time (30 ɸ). Our company was so prosperous as to be one of the largest sapphire manufacturers or processors in the world at the time.
Furthermore, as if the current proliferation of sapphire glass for smartphone were forecasted, we started the development of sapphire glass for high grade cell phones 13 years ago, succeeded in the mass production, and therefore, we are the only company possessing the know-how on sapphire glass for cell phone and sapphire glass for smart phone in Japan. We are making daily effort to promote the next generation of technical innovation, taking advantage of our experience in watch cover glass and technology in sapphire glass substrates for projector.
The largest characteristic of us is the high quality of production, proud of 99.9% of yield, which would be the evidence of our daily R&D leading the manufacturing industry of Japan.
In addition, we have been supplying products for several decades endeavoring not to cause any delay of delivery, which we could say no other company could have done before. Our production system is so systematic that our products can be supplied very smoothly to users. In the future, we would like to make efforts to expand our business not only watch makers inside the country but also in Europe, utilizing our know-how on high yield ratio and reliable production system to observe delivery deadlines. Small and medium-sized enterprises including us cooperate with partner companies, utilizing superior characteristics of each others, helping each other with a sense of give and take, supporting each other, and sharing respective information in order to develop new products and to survive in such competitive societies.
We understand that our production system to observe delivery deadlines which achieved no delay of delivery and reliability we gained are assets established backed by support and cooperation from our client material makers and partner companies.
Last year, to ensure this, we carried out research and development on a sapphire glass product that requires the most technical skill and developed a new product, and the patent is now pending.
We are determined to further improve our technology on sapphire glass cover for watch, and to continue step by step development in cooperation with partner companies with an aim of expanding the share larger.
We are recognized that our future mission is to respond to the strong requirements from the industries of sapphire glass substrates for smart phone and sapphire glass for authentication, that is to say, to fully make efforts to supply our most advanced technologies and our experience nourished for these 43 years in the form of products required by our customers.

We feel it is a challenge because sapphire glass is the most difficult material to process, so the consumers tend to pursue the quality of process of this material regardless of expense. We will promote manufacturing technology of Japanese small and medium companies in the world and will do our best to develop new products.
